I was skeptical at first ordering from another online discount reseller. However, this is one new shop that has differentiated itself through its approach to customer service in addition to great prices. In the past, when ordering from discount stores, I had ordered online and then found that later had to wait 30 minutes to actually get through to an unfriendly customer service rep. It was a refreshing change of pace to call, hit one menu option, and have someone immediately pick up that was friendly and helpful. He didn't know the answers to one of my questions and transferred me to a Canon specialist who was able to knowledgably describe the product and help find me one that fit my needs. Of course, like any salespeople, it is their job to upsell you and make sure you have all of the accesories that you need. At first, I thought I was being taken for a spin because they didn't have any more of the camera (40d) that was advertised on their site and thought they were using it as a way to get people in the door. But they quickly removed that product from their site and helped me to find an alternative. Normally I turn down these types of offers, but in this case they suggested a great deal and I took them up on the offer. Keep in mind that many of their products online are the non-USA versions, great deals except they don't come with the Canon USA warranty. However, you have the option of paying slightly more for the USA versions or buying their warranties if you are looking for piece of mind over price. Overall - this has been the best experience ordering online that I have had in a long time. They are better than best buy or the larger online retailers because they offer personal service and easy customer support. I am glad that one of these NY retailers had the idea to remain honest to their customers and differentiate themselves from the slew of online resellers out there. I called to purchase my daughter a camera for her birthday. Scott was great, he answered my questions, made a couple of suggestions, actually spoke English and had a since of humor. What a guy! I will order again as long as the camera is as good as I think it will be. I needed to get the camera in 3 days and was offered several shipping options. After contacting immediately after my online order went through; the customer service rep (Andy) informed me the item I wanted was actually discontinued and was being removed from the site. He politely took some time to offer a replacement item that was newer. Not only did he explain what happened he offered me a discounted price on the newer item as well as priority shipping. I would recommend Thunder Camera to anyone looking for a solid value and courtesy.

What a great experience talking to such an informed young man. Andy knew what he was talking about. He took the time to give me the information I was asking for. He's what I call an "Old Fashion Salesman". Courteous, informative,and wellspoken. I could have spent more somewhere else and possibly purchased the wrong camera. Andy also told me about a great lens, the new Sigma 18-250 @ a greatly reduced price. I will definately buy from Thunder Cameras again, and I'll ask for Andy @ ext.100.

Overall I got a very good product for a very cheap price and the customer service was good too. The only thing that I would make sure of is that the battery you are expecting comes with your camera order on the first. They were very quick to work with me and make sure everything was correct on my order

I found THUNDERCAMERAS online and e mailed them for information as I had contacted three other vendors that offered low prices but they turned out to be "bait and switch", the prce quoted on their websites was just for the camera body, battery charger and other accessories were extra!! and a $500 camera turned out to be over $2000. Thunder cameras got back to me by phone within an hour and were able to alay my fears of a SCAM! Price qoted included all the bits and pieces. Also got good advice for extras that would enhance the performance of the camcorder. I ended up with a good package deal and superb customer service. I will buy from this onlne store again as they are honest and upfront.
